So what are some favorite lists to create?

How do you decide which lists are actually relevant for you to post? Are there some locations that you try to avoid posting?

Hello @JohnACarter

There isn’t any exclusion list of locations.

Further, like on Maps, here too we share our experience. But then the content goes beyond that.

On Maps, a visitor comes looking for reviews for an upcoming visit to a place of interest. Whereas, on Connect, we have to create content which will captivate the reader to go through that, and then decided to visit that spot.

So the post can contain some more information about the history and geography of the location, it’s cultural setting and so on.

Further, readers can ask multiple queries and get relevant clarifications, quickly.

But then the basic theme remains common “Sharing of genuine experience”.

Ah, I think get the gist of it. The nuance is that on Maps we are addressing people who have questions because they are going to a location whereas on Connect we are actually creating the impetus for people to actually WANT to go to a particular location.

Ergo, lists on Maps might be very logistical to simply provide ideas to a wide audience en route. However, on Connect we are looking to tell a story with each list to captivate a niche audience that might not have been on the way prior to reading.
