Snow in Scotland leading to great snow sports and activities

There is proper snow up the hills of Scotland this week as temperatures have really falling. Combined with blue skies through the week it really is the right time to get out to the hills.

Below is a photos I took from Glenshee Ski Centre in 2018 with similar conditions today (been waiting for the right time to get up the hills this year!) Glenshee offers 22 lifts and 36 runs which I believe is the biggest in the UK and sits in the centre of Scotland.

The centre offers full kit hire, training school, 3 separate cafes and plenty of parking just off the main road.

Hello @SimonD87 ,

Welcome to Local Guides Connect.

Thank you for your detailed post. The images speak volumes.

Wow, 22 lifts and 36 slopes! As a passionate snowboarder myself, I hope you won’t mind me asking about the lift cards, and what is the price for a full day of riding?

By the way, since you are new to the community I would like to share with you a couple of resources I believe you will find beneficial.

For a starter, we would recommend checking the interesting read on basic etiquette on Connect with 14 helpful tips for using Connect and I`m new to the community?. @Deskata thanks for the response, yes this is my first post so I’m very happy for you to share tips for me!

A full day pass is £32 or a half day is £25, other discounts and passes are available too. I think it’s really good value for the variety of slopes here.

Thank you for the prompt reply @SimonD87 .

Now you had me thinking about planning a visit to Glenshee Ski Centre in the future.

Have fun here and keep it up. :]
