Gili Air is one of the three Gilis (small island) in Lombok, Indonesia. It’s the smallest of the Gili and closest to the Lombok Mainland. It’s the most tranquil place I have ever visited. Just for you to know guys that Gili Air is making its popular with honeymoon couples and travelers seeking the quite retreat.
To explore Gili Air we need to use Cidomo a public transportation operated by the horse. It costs you IDR 100,000 one way near or far. Instead of using Cidomo we can also riding the bike through the island. Where we could get the bike? Some of the Hotel provides and some we can get from the rental shop.
ACTIVITIES IN GILI AIR
- Stay-cation
Gili Air Lagoon Resort is one of the recommended place to stay in Gili Air. Relaxing is the thing that you couldn’t miss during your vacation. This hotel is unique. It has circular swimming pool surrounds the Villa. The concept of this Resort is back to nature.
- Cycling
During the cycling you will find many Instagram spots with the beach and the mountain as the background. Anyway cycling around the island is a very pleasant thing and you can occasionally stop to rest while enjoying the mesmerized calming waves of the sea. In addition The warm sun and the morning breeze will complete the package
- Snorkeling
The main popular activity in Gili Air is snorkeling in three Gilis i.e Gili Air itself, Gili Trawangan and Gili Meno. There are many local tour&travel agencies offering the snorkeling package including the equipments. They will bring you to the three Gilis by the boat departing at 9 am until 14:00 hrs. It starts from Gili Air, Gili Trawangan then end in Gili Meno. During the snorkeling your eyes will be spoiled by seeing many colorful fish, turtles and beautiful corals Anyway It is awesome, You must try 
- Sunset
Apart from those 3 activities you could also pamper yourself by chilling in the Krisna Sunset restaurant and accompanied by a glass of Pineapple Juice. Well typical of tropical life style.Waiting for the sunset, listening to the sea. Here you will learn how to appreciate the valuable time in your life. The twilight passes so quickly, the night comes with its moon and the morning always offers new stories.
