I remember going to places completely unknown to me, feeling lost, not knowing where to go eat or what to do for fun. I had to rely on the suggestions of the front desk brochures… but I never got to see the real things connoisseurs knew about, and missed a ton of fun. Until Google Maps came along.
With the help of local guides, I can find hidden places worthy of a true foodie in my city or anywhere in the world. Additionally, as Google knows me oh so well, I get recommendations, showing places I would never had thought of visiting.… and so far, no complaints! The activity chart helps me find the best times to visit or if reservations are needed. I can see the menu and know exactly what to order when I get there, making my experience smooth and sweet! Cash only place? I am prepared!
Since I’ve enjoyed the benefits of what others share, I do my work. Whenever I go out, I make sure I take quality pictures that show my experience, and I rate places fairly. I believe it’s important to give constructive criticism in order to make businesses bloom. On that note; I, as a marketer and marketing teacher, share the word about Google My Business. I help small entrepreneurs and nonprofits be present on Google Maps and take full advantage of the tool.
My birthday is coming and I already know where I want the celebration to take place thanks to Google Maps - I discovered a restaurant that suits my cravings 
I know no one will get lost because I will send them the location so they can get directions and be there easily, and using Google Calendar, I’ll make sure they save the date
