I’m Michael! Just a regular guy who has curiosity and passion in exploring the world around through amateur photography.
I have always used Google Maps ever since I discovered the app. From going to different and new places or to just checking random parts of the world – it always had fascinated me. Whenever I’m in an unfamiliar territory, foreign country, or even just looking for a place to eat I depended on it heavily. During travels with my sisters it made going into different tourist spots fast and easy for us. I believe it really is a great invention.
I started contributing last May 2018, I never knew I could contribute until my colleague taught me how. It was a rewarding and delightful experience. I loved answering questions and knowing that my contributions are of great help to other people, even to the world perhaps. The first time I answered questions about accessibility, opened my eyes to the needs of others. Sharing simple information if a lane for wheelchair exist would give better planning and decision making to people with special needs and I’m happy that we have that in Local Guides.
Also, I felt awesome knowing that my photographs are being viewed by all kinds of people. It’s always been a dream and passion of mine to travel, not only to see places but also to meet new people and delve into different cultures. I have always been curious about the world and Local Guides is a big help in making it an interactive experience to explore
