Small Business - My First Online Business Review - Fresh 2 Home

Fresh to Home was always my favorite small business to procure fresh meat products like seafood and poultry since the days of my living in Bengaluru. They had both an online presence and a small outlet in Halasuru that was on my way from the office to home.

So I always preferred picking up on the way, especially since they delivered only in nearby areas.

Online Experience

After relocating to Delhi I was delighted to find the same outlet in the Sector 32 market. Also after the Covid lockdown, they spruced up their website. The small counter eventually closed out and they have started delivering all over Gurugram.

• I have regularly ordered seafood and poultry products online and paid online.
• They also allow electing a delivery slot in the morning and the afternoon which is very convenient.
• This is followed by an SMS via WhatsApp confirming the order.

Procedure

The delivery happens on the said date during the selected time-slot.

The delivery person arrives at the main gate of my gated community and I receive an automated voice call with option 1 to allow entry and option 2 to deny.

After which the delivery person arrives at my doorstep carrying a hand-sanitizer. He applies the sanitizer to his hands and also sprays on the bag containing the ordered product.

Service

The packaging is perfect and the label tag has all the information about the product along with my name and a QR code as seen in the image below.

Inside the handbag is the product wrapped in a sealed pack within another clear plastic bag,

The product has always been fresh and of high-quality so far.

Other Features

  1. They also have an app on Android and iOS.
  2. A customer care phone number and an email.
  3. They also provide a redeem code for discounts.
  4. They also send me a follow-up email asking for feedback and participate in surveys.

Conclusion

Ever since restrictions due to the pandemic have been put in place I am enjoying this online service which is equally good as the one when I ordered across the counter.

I absolutely would love to continue supporting this small business in my neighborhood for it is a Win-Win.

Thanks, yes when they sell online the price are high we have star mall the price difference is there yesterday I was read news paper Star mall offer for full week then saw on star quick rate difference I buy non veg from mall there u get fresh also download star quick saw the price difference online.

Great recap on your experience, @TusharSuradkar - it has been astonishing to see how local businesses have adapted to keeping their businesses going for their valued customers by offering enhanced experiences for ordering online or receiving curbside pickup, etc.
