Hello Local Guides,
It been one year of supporting small business, on 10th June 2020 I hosted my very first virtual meet up where we discussed how we can help small businesses around us.
After which I kept searching new ways to motivate fellow local guides to do the same.
Looking back to the year
I not only improved my contributions but also shared whatever I discovered and shared with fellow local guides.
Through regular posts and series of meet ups, on the other hand contributing on Google maps
By adding businesses.
Adding the first rating, review and pictures for local shops around me.
Added information about safety, take away delivery and appreciating things that I liked after my visit.
Going out often was not possible so decided to contribute in different ways like making lists and answering yes or no.
Checking facts making edits about the time change.
opening and closing of business.
Whenever I ordered food I added a review for the same.
Today I feel proud as a local guide when I meet the business owners and hear from them about how adding their business on maps helped them.
Also I feel glad to see response from onwers on my reviews
It just takes a few minutes to stop by and contributed. Let’s keep spreading happiness for small business around us 
This year join me to reach new goals to contribute towards small business.
My goal is help out as many businesses as possible
For this I aim to add reviews for at least 50 reviews for local shops and Restaurants.
Make 100 edits for local shops and restaurants
Add latest photos for at least 50 places
Add new business as I find them
Help business owners to get listed on maps using Google my business and show how to use it.
