Courier business is grow rapidly in my countri Indonesia.
I can named new more than ten new courier businesses.
They use various transportation mode like :
- Motorcycle
- Trycycle with water resist mini container
- Mini van
- Truck
The activities is arround the clock 24/7.
The delivery man works long hour.
This morning I heard one delivery man knocking my neighhbour but do not get answer.
So I open my gate and ask him if there anything that I can help him.
Since I know that if he stuck in my area for ten minutes it means he reduce ten minutes his family time because he should works long hours.
He explain that he already knocking the door but nobody come out, the package is in one big sack and if he not delivered, his data is highlated red and will impact his performance evaluation and he should come back again.
So I over what if I received the package and what information he needed from me.
He ask me to take my picture and my phone number, I sad no problem after he give his home adress too.
I open my gate and ask him to put in my garage.
Problem solved, and he can drive his mini van. I ask him to take care since he will have a long day, since we can see his minivan is full of bulky package thats mean that his business is running well.
He blown his horn happily, and I am back to my laptop and my works.
Noon I met the mother of the name on the package and I delivered to them.
Everybody is happy.
