I recently visited this sandwich place on my way to Mt Diablo, CA. Whenever I get a response from the owner for the review I have written it is very satisfying. Even though I have got several such replies for other reviews, I picked this one, since I still remember their unique and tasty Chicken Tikka Sandwich and of course their courteous and friendly service.

@jayasimha78 I really like it when owners hand write their menu on chalkboard. Makes it very personal and show that they care about their food. Do you have any photos of the sandwich by any chance? Chicken tikka sandwich sounds delicious :slightly_smiling_face:

@iyudhi You are right, I always like the mom & pop shops VS bigger chains. They have something unique to offer VS a cookie cutter menu. Unfortunately I don’t have pictures of sandwich, we did a takeout and ended up eating in the car, on the way to Mt Diablo. Also when you are really hungry you forget to take the picture :slightly_smiling_face:

Great place @jayasimha78 , it looks very clean and nice, good review and nice reply from the owner indeed … you are getting me willing of their delicious Chicken Tikka Sandwich :kissing_closed_eyes: .

@jayasimha78 Thanks for taking part in this challenge too! And great to see the interaction with the owner over your review! Alas, a shame there’s no picture of the sandwich but I think that means that you should head back there to remedy that! :wink:

@AdrianLunsong He He, yes we do, since there is no meaningful public transportation here. 78 is a random number, I am much older than you, probably hard to catch up :slightly_smiling_face:

Can’t agree more @jayasimha78 , when you are really hungry you forget to take picture of the food. May be that should be an excuse for you to go back there and make it up later. So, did the chicken tikka sandwich really taste like chicken tikka? And what bread did they use for the sandwich? I am curious to know because I am a fan of chicken tikka. Never tried tikka sandwich though.

@AdrianLunsong , you are so right, Americans love to drive, let it be a 100 miles or a thousand. By the way, I am only a little more than a decade older than you, try catching me up instead. :wink:

@SoniaK That was first time I had the Chicken Tikka sandwich. There were several bread options, I went for Sourdough Roll. Chicken tikka really tasted like good Chicken tikka. I have had Chicken Tikka on Pizza before. This was very good too.
