“Slondok” (renteng) is a typical food from Yogyakarta and several other areas in Java also exist with other models; the manufacture still follows traditional recipes, made from cassava, simple spices. "Cassava is boiled, then pounded until smooth, seasoned with garlic and salt, shaped round, fried immediately, after that tied with 7 bamboo ropes. Usually served for a welcome drink and a snack for guests. During my visit to Yogyakarta, I could find Slondhok Renteng Pak Mul in Boyong Sleman village, Yogyakarta.
