Skywalker’s: Star Wars themed restaurant 🚀

Star Wars theme stars playing

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…, sorry it was impossible not to start my post like that haha, today is May the 4th and a lot of fans celebrate this day as Star Wars Day so May the Fourth Be With You! A couple of months ago I visited Skywalker’s a Star Wars themed restaurant in Querétaro, México.

The restaurant is divided in two sides, the first one is the Mos Eisley cantina and the second one a hallway of an Imperial Ship in both areas there are screen and it was really interesting to see the door that has both styles, waiters are dressed as characters of the films, wherever you look at you will find a Jedi, a rebel pilot, even Rey and Princess Leia.

I went with my family and chose the imperial ship area, Mos Eisley was cool but you know “sand gets everywhere” , the imperial ship area had the lights on the walls, it was wider and maybe we could help rebels destroy it.

Food

The menu had different options of hamburgers, pizzas, wings and salads, the ones that people order the most are hamburgers which can choose the color of the bun: black, green or red and the most ordered pizza was the Millennium Falcon-shaped pizza. I ordered the Chancellor burger which had Argentinian chorizo and chimichurri and chose the dark bread, it was soft and my burger was delicious.

If you wanted to feel like a Jedi or Sith you could also order a Lightsaber, there were different colours depending on the drink and the glass had a LED at the bottom.

All the time there is something entertaining whether it is bits of the best moments of your favourite characters shown on the screens but this restaurant takes this to another level characters even come to life and wander around your table like R2-D2 and Grogu (Baby Yoda) RC figures.

Suddenly the lights dim and Imperial march starts playing, you can feel the tension in the air and hear people screaming in the other part of the restaurant and then the red lightsaber lights up like at the end of Rogue One… something serious was about to happen and then Darth Vader walked in, escorted by a pair of stormtroopers, they turned out to be really friendly guys, fist bumping people and taking photos at the end.

Finally the staff asked everybody to take a seat, it became dark again and a Jedi Knight and a Sith Lord started a lightsaber duel, the place looked amazing almost in complete darkness and the lightsabers clashing with “Duel of the Fates” playing in the background, look at those effects  .

Caption: Animated GIFs of the lightsaber duel

After the duel, people could take pictures with actors holding more lightsabers, kids received a Padawan lightsaber class where the Jedi teached them a small series of movements, I would have loved that as a child.

:wheelchair: Accessibility

:white_check_mark: The restaurant is located on the first floor but it has an elevator right in front of the entrance

:white_check_mark: Inside there are no obstacles or stairs

:x: Mos Eisley area is narrow

:x: Restrooms are not accessible.

Have you been to a theme restaurant like this? Which side would you choose?

It was great to visit this place before Disney lawyers knew about its existence LOL

Thanks for reading and May the 4th be with you!

¡Gracias @Nosaint2_Rafael_Fe !

Tenía guardado el post desde que lo visité

Wow @Gezendunyali sounds interesting, do you have photos?

The problem with themed restaurants is that in some of them food is not good at all.

That’s so interesting @LaloPadilla , visit and enjoy meal SkyWalkers restaurant is something different experience for anyone.

When I saw the post, I was not expecting that the workers there also wear costumes like star war character  but after seeing in your post I was :+1: :+1:

So, the restaurant is in the city of my friend from @ClaudiaPena 's city, so I will recommend her to visit here as you did
