SkyBridge Gatlinburg - an awesome experience.

Last fall we went to Gatlinburg for a weekend trip. Our main attraction of this trip was to experience the new opened SkyBridge over there. It was foggy and cloudy that day, intermitted rain forecast was there. I must say the weather is not pleasant though it makes the bridge riding more memorable. The skylift park is located in the heart of Gatlinburg downtown. Buy tickets and you need to ride first on the sky lift open ropeway then after in the top of the mountain the gate of Skybridge is located. While walking on the bridge I was scared and feeling thrilled in mind. As I said it was foggy and cloudy otherwise you can view the whole smoky mountains and Gatlinburg from there. The bridge is shaking while we are walking and in the middle of the bridge, there is glass to see beneath. The bridge ends on another side of the mountain top. Resting area and the refreshment is available over there. It’s an awesome experience.

I will not recommend people with severe heart conditions, trouble with walking or vertigo problems to go over there. Wear comfortable shoes and check the temperature ahead because of the temperature and weather sudden changes in the top of the mountain. Preferably a sunny bright day is good for the view. It will take more than 1 hour to go and came back down.

I’m so delighted to see this article here because last week, I experienced the SkyBridge in Gatlinburg, TN. Do you live here? @usashi_stories

When you say that you were scared to walk on the wobbly bridge, I could certainly feel that for I know how bizarre it was to walk on the shaky bridge.

Luckily, we didn’t find any fog but only breathtaking view from the top along with beautiful Christmas decorations. Thank you so much for this lovely article!
