Skopelos is an amazing Greek island. It is situated in western Aegean Sea. Here you will find crystal clear sea waters, quietness and amazing views. Located between Skiathos and Alonissos, and is one of the most beautiful islands in Greece. Me and my family took an one unvorgattable Easter holyday on it. There is no airport in Skopelos island. The closest airport is at the island of Skiathos. From Skiathos, visitors can take the ferry to one of the two ports in Skopelos town or Glosa. We take the ferry from Volos port and arrived in Skopelos in about 4 hours. The movie of Hollywood with the wonderful songs of ABBA and amazing actors as my favourite Meryl Streep Mamma Mia was filmed in Skopelos . You can see the church of Agios Ioannis where the Mamma Mia was filmed. If you want to visit monastery you need to climb 105 steps. The view is breathtaking.
