Hello my lovely friends in connect, wherever and whenever you are. I hope you always happy and healthy
So, today I wanna tell you a bit my experience a year ago. When I visited the longest suspension bridge in Indonesia.
A year ago, my sister and I went to Situgunung Suspension Bridge in Sukabumi, in Taman Nasional Gunung Gede Pangrango (TNGGP) conservation area. The rumor was this bridge was the longest suspension bridge in indonesia. With length 243 meter, 1,2 meter wide anda 161 meter aboveground. The construction of this suspension bridge took while and used of iron wood brought directly from Papua.
In this place not only Suspension Bridge, also exist Situgunung lake (situ in english is lake) but perhaps people usually called Situgunung , so we just called situgunung not Gunung Lake. Furthermore, there is a Sawer Waterfall. For your information guys, this suspension bridge also as shortcut way to Sawer Waterfall. Yea, it was one of the bridge advantages we can walk to sawer waterfall in about 30 minutes. Whereas, if we walked based on track it would take more than an hour and through wilwood thereabout 2 kilometres
From entrance, We must walked therebout 200 metre to the counter to get over this bridge then paid amount IDR 50k and we would get the bracelet as an admission. In the middle of trip we found a few of good place, among them were a restaurant and a place for a show.
A restaurant, I pretty interest with this restaurant because it was in the middle of nature, above the interforest and there was a photo spot that wonderful, it was a kind of balcony I guess,
A place for a show, a live local cultural show from local arts and culture community. The show usually perform on Saturday and Sunday. Unfortunately, I could not see the show because I came on the weekdays.
sorry all, I forgot to take the stage picture. so, I only had photo of the seat.
after we took a photos in there, we walked about 5-10 minutes to arrive in the suspension bridge. I was so nervous when we would cross, because that was my first experience being over 161 metre aboveground. When we crossed, there so many people to took a photos or videos include me. I wouldn’t to miss that chance, so I tried to brave for took the photos.
After we crossed the bridge, I went to Sawer Waterfall and I walked for 20 minutes. When we arrived, we would find a market, a little market that sold a lot of souvenirs, and also the food.
And pict below was when I arrived at the Sawer Waterfall. It was so amazing experience, although it was a year ago! The wind blew fiercely, perhaps because it was near from where the water falls.
And I saw the rainbow, it was so beautiful.
I can’t wait to get back here.
So, I think it’s the end of my story. Thanks for your attention.
