Siri Pada / Adam’s peak is 2,243 m tall, situated in the hill country of Sri Lanka. Since it is located in the center of the country and is a conical mountain, it can be seen in many parts of Sri Lanka.
It is a sacred peak for people from many religions. Mainly it is worshiped by Buddhists who believe the Lord Buddha’s footprint on the top of the mountain. Siri Pada in Sinhala means the scared foot. I took the following photo from the Kalutara bridge, about 65km from the Siri Pada / Adam’s peak.
