Hey @Yousuf_khan ,

It must be a fascinating experience to visit this place. Why do you recommend going there in July? Is there something special about the season?

By the way could you share the Google Maps link of the fort. I am not sure if this is it - https://goo.gl/maps/K3RHYZ61gqgguPxA8.

Thanks

Because i visited there in mid July 2019…

The link u shared is a place where we find statues of ruler n various sculptures…

The photos are of quite average quality, it appears perhaps you used a low-quality cellphone camera.

Also, my friend from Pune, Mr. @Yousuf_khan I’d suggest you could at least copy-paste the name of the place from Google Maps instead of writing a misleading name of this place.

:-1:

@MashaPS you 've got the place location right. I wonder how you found it out correctly in such a distant location using just photos.

I’d strongly recommend giving a warning to this LG about posting misleading information in terms of the misspelling of the place name.

Sorry for the mistake done.

And My intention is not to mislead anyone.

@TusharSuradkar

Misspelling of Heritage site by mistake niether stops visitors to visit nor the beauty goes down…

Point of low quality images it’s all about due to fog effect…

Hello @Yousuf_khan Possibly, you do not understand Marathi & hence you overlooked my queries. However, a language is not a barrier on Connect. You can translate a reply in any suitable language and reply that in the language of your choice. Look for the translate option at the top.

Nevertheless, there are multiple errors in your post. Low quality photographs, incorrect data, not providing a Maps location & on top of that misspelling an iconic place. You can still correct all these by editing your post.

Hello @TusharSuradkar

I appreciate your agony by seeing the misspelling of an iconic place.

However, the connect site operates on five core values. “being considerate in big ways” is one out of that.

Nevertheless, if the misdeed is intentional, we have a right to highlight that.

@TusharSuradkar Please read the Core Values of Connect and consider how your current attitude or behaviour does or does not fit with those values.

Your photos are perfectly acceptable and beautiful - the fog adds a dimension of mystery that would not normally reveal itself @Yousuf_khan and we understand that people make mistakes sometimes when they are sharing a place name and sometimes people know the same place by different names which is ok.

Dear @C_T , @PaulPavlinovich

I have only given my frank impression and description citing the average quality of the photos, this is not criticism under any circumstances.

The quality of photos is only an attribute that can be improved.

I think I have a considerate mindset in saying that “perhaps the camera was of poor quality.”

Now since the place’s spelling has been updated, I am going back and removing those lines where I gave friendly advice to use Copy-Paste from Google Maps.

Paul, your usage of words like “attitude and behavior” is a bit overblown and a misfit in the current discussion and in this community.

I would sincerely request you to edit your message and use a sober tone, you know the core values as well, right?

Thanks.

@Yousuf_khan My friend,

I would recommend posting photos in full size which you did not do in your original post leading to someone like me into the impression that they are of low quality.

When viewed full-screen, they indeed look superb :+1:

I too have a MI mobile and I purchased it especially for the camera quality.

As @C_T has rightly mentioned the place is iconic in that region and people like me will not tolerate disregard for the spelling.

I also tried to help you with the suggestion of Copy-Pasting.

But my friend, with the wrong spelling, people will never be able to locate that place, let alone visiting.

I agree with your comment that C_T is helpful and gentle in his approach.

But unfortunately, you also failed to see my post as a helpful one in terms of pointing out the spelling mistake and the subsequent hint to use Copy-Paste.

All the best for your future posts.

Thanks for the edit @Yousuf_khan

Still you are silent upon telling the exact spot where you clicked the photos!

Reaching the forth through “पुणे दरवाजा” & exit through The “कल्याण दरवाजा” happens to be a favorite trek.

Circumnavigating the fort & reaching the “कलावंतीणीचा बुरुज” is another preferred trek.

Further, you can notice the “राजगड” & “तोरणा” fort from there and that becomes an added attraction.

Have you tried that?

BTW, if you are finding difficulty in reading Devanagari script, you can always reach the translator & see the whole thing in English.

@C_T

I approach here via trek to reach kalyan darwaza…such a fabulous breakfast i had in between trek "bhakri pitla(bread made o sorghum)matka dahi(curd) which i liked most, buttermilk, lemon juice…

I clicked photo at kalyan darwaza may be am not sure…

Rajgad n torna fort yet to visit…

Cancelled plan 2 times as i stay in khadakwasla (DIAT)area where you see most of the rain in these months(july to sept) …
