Single Day Trip in Narshindi

Last week, I visited Narshindi District on a single-day tour. Let me share the story of my visit and the things I saw there.

In the past few months, I have been living in Kapasia, Gazipur. One morning, I decided to go to Narshindi. I started my journey from Kapasia bus stand at 7 am. First, I went to Chala Bazar to pick up my friend, and together we began our journey. While traveling by CNG, I came across a banana market, which was a unique experience for me. I had never seen a market dedicated to a specific product before, and it left me wondering.

At around 10 am, we reached Monohordi and switched vehicles, leaving the CNG behind and continuing in a bus. During the bus ride, we enjoyed the view of roadside banana gardens and vast empty fields. After an hour, we arrived at Narshindi Sadar.

Our first stop was Narshindi Govt. College, where we spent over an hour. I took some photos and made contributions on maps.

Next, we visited Arshinagar Park and Zoo, but unfortunately, this place turned out to be disappointing. The park was not well-maintained, the benches were in poor condition, and there was an unpleasant smell from the fishery nearby.

We then proceeded to Narshindi Railway Station. Railway stations are often considered iconic landmarks of cities, and Narshindi Railway Station was no exception. We took lots of photos there.

Our next destination was Narshindi Stadium, where we sat on the field and rested for a while.

Afterward, we headed towards the nearest bridge situated on the Meghna River. We admired the beauty of the river and enjoyed the view.

In the evening, we returned to Kapasia, concluding our eventful day in Narshindi.
