It was a lazy Sunday evening, I was at my friend’s place watching a movie. The movie was boring so we switched to Instagram! Looking for things to do. We saw people getting away for short holidays for trekking, beaches which made us feel more bad for us doing nothing of that sort. Then we had a serious discussion to visit some happening place and then we saw Sindhudurg as the only option in our budget. We called our friends and started a group for more discussion, as always! I thought no one will approve this plan on such short notice. But seems like everyone wanted a getaway! This was the only plan which was accepted by friends in one go. Then the made all the arrangements and were waiting for the weekend.
It was Friday! I was super excited for this trip. It was going to tick off something that was on my bucket lists for a very long time.We started our journey on the Friday evening. It was a 9 hours long drive. Through the mountains and highways we were singing, cracking jokes and remembering our college days. They travelling was hectic but was super memorable with my people.
We reached the homestay in Tarkarli on Saturday morning around 7:30am. We were tired but also excited for the SCUBA Diving! We got ready and started to walk towards the beach. It was a beautiful cool breeze, soft smooth sand and the sound the waves. We got into a boat for our scuba dive adventure.
The dive was my best experience till date. When you are in the boat you here the sound of waves the breeze. But when you go inside the water it’s calm and quite. It marvelous the life underwater was beautiful the calmness and relive will give you your best memories. The fishes ,coral and the beautiful sea bed. It’s something I can’t explain in words! It is beautiful. You should do the scuba diving atleast once in life. You will not feel like coming out of the calmness. I was scared to death first but I didn’t want to come back to the boat when I went to dive. Truly a memorable trip. We are blessed to have such beautiful nature and we need to take care of it. Thanks you Tarkarli, Sindhudurg for giving me so good memories to cherish! Until next adventure!
