Is there something more complex than simplicity? Here is an example, mexican food. With this two pictures I tried to capture how simple mexican food can be, colorful, always some tortilla, salsa, cheese, but I recently realized how fundamentalist mexican food is. The tortilla that is the base of mostly mexican food is not just corn it has to be made in special way. Every mexican wont eat any tortilla. Nothing tastes good without cilantro. Spicy is the key. A good tip is when you go for mexican food check the population eating in that restorant. Look peoples faces, are they mostly native mexicans looking for home-food? Do not be shy to ask them , how are the tortillas here? They have the answer. Do not eat mexican food as a tourist. Mexican food is so much rich than a simple taco. If you are in the Atlanta area, Georgia, go to Buford Hwy. There is the latin american area where the complex of mexican food is alive.

I love when you said “Look peoples faces, are they mostly native Mexicans looking for home-food?”
This is exactly what I do when I’m trying out a new place! I’m Nigerian, and I can tell you places that we all go to in my current city to get the most authentic meals.

@paulagomezsusta I love mexican food, the real one, Tex-Mex is alright but not the real deal… I do like spicy tacos, enchiladas, chimichangas, and so on. Thanks for sharing your pics!
