Chinatown in downtown San Francisco is the oldest Chinese enclave in North America according to what I have read online. During my trip there last week, it was a great pleasure for me to visit and enjoy the sights, sounds and food there. It’s a very popular place to visit among visitors to the city.
People visit Chinatown for many reasons. It’s the center of Chinese food and many delicious food places are located there. It’s also a great place to buy good and fresh produce and food, as well as all the Chinese kitchen condiments used in Chinese cooking. And since many souvenirs and clothes are made in China, it’s also one of the best places to buy collectibles and gifts for friends back home. As well as many interesting places to see along the entire path.
