Siddha Pokhari, Bhaktapur’s largest pond
One of Bhaktapur’s famous ponds is Siddhapokhari.
Siddhapokhari is also known as “Ta Pukhu,” which means “the larger pond” in English. The words “Ta” and “Pukhu,” which are in the Newari language, respectively mean “large” and “pond.”
This waterhole is 171 meters long, 73 meters wide, and 3 meters deep. It’s a fantastic location to visit and experience the ultimate freshness.
