When I was a little girl, I had a dream, it was to travel all over the world, although in my house we did not have much money, my mother always let me fly beyond my imagination and always supported me and said, -yes, someday you will do it. When I was growing up I began to be more realistic and I began to see that it was not as easy as I had thought, however I never stopped dreaming, I remember when I was on the internet and read about many people who had been able to travel around the world and without much money, and then I was wondering -wow how is it, that they can and I can’t? What do they have that I don’t have?
It was there when my heart was exalted and said if they can me too, and I kept reading and seeing photos about travelers and backpackers, and dreaming one day of being in their shoes, since I was able to look for some money I started saving and always working In order to travel, to fly, to get to know, to see what was beyond, how were the people, the food, the animals, the sky, the water, and in general everything, but unfortunately I had many stumbles and my dreams saw further and further, however I kept trying.
Today I feel very happy and proud to say I fulfilled my dream, to travel to the places I had in mind at that time, which were Paris, Amsterdam and Rome.
Now I know 17 different countries around the world, and if it hadn’t been for the corona virus, (hahaha) it would be a few more. For some these may be many countries, for others maybe few, for me it is simply a dream come true, something incredible that many should go through regardless of limitations.
For me being a local guide makes me have a connection with people around the world and in this way they can see through my photos what I am seeing too, it is a way of transporting people to other countries, other places, other environments without the need for them to move from their sofa, but at the same time inviting them to go out and visit each little corner, each park, each restaurant, each street, each business and each place that surrounds them or that someday they would like to visit.
When people see my photos or comments, they only remind me of my search for how to be a good traveler and looking through the eyes or images of others at how vast the world is and how small we are within it.
