Hey everyone, my name’s Phil. I’m new to Local Guides Connect.

I’d love to know who the dedicated Local Guides are in Eastern & South Western Ontario. I would enjoy connecting with you guys. Anyone interested in chatting or establishing a meet up at some point? It seems like a lot of Local Guides from other countries are highly involved in connecting/community with each other. Is Canada different in that regard? If that’s true, it would be a positive change if we became more connected. Agreed?

Hi @PhilUp shout out to you and all Local Guides in your community. It’s interesting to see an LG in Ontario and of course recenlty from Ottawa and Nova Scotia.

I believe there are other Local Guides eager to join an active community. So, I will suggest you host a meetup and share across social media to invite them.

Hey neighbor,

yes that’s a great idea! Maybe between Ontario and Quebec we could come up with enough LGs to make it worthwhile. Or maybe we need to make it Canada wide lol

I really appreciate your suggestions. Since I’m new to this, I’ll have to do some research first if I’m going to host a meet up so that I know what’s expected of me. I’ve definitely been noticing the lack of LG community here, at least online. But I’m curious why you find it interesting that an LG would be from Ontario?
