Because of the lockdown In light of covid-19 situation, creating lists is one of the most interesting and easy ways to contribute on Google maps.
May I know whether I should visit the place I want to add to list or I can add it depending on the reviews of other Local Guides and google maps users?
That is a very interesting question @HanyM19
I think lists like ‘Wish to Go’ could include places that you have not visited.
But lists that you create like 'Best Fast Food Joint in Town" are definitely your recommendations, so one would expect that you have visited those places.
This is how I look at it, though the reality could be different and it could just be that you are allowed to include places in a list you haven’t actually visited.

@HanyM19 The lists that are added can be from places we want to go to but have never visited, for example: https://bit.ly/2Wss4PN where I detail parks in Paris that I want to visit soon, based on references and photographs.
They can also be lists of visited places and other times of places little known by most people.
In conclusion, there is no limit to making lists, as long as they are created and described with authentic words and not copied from Web sites.

Most of us create lists of sites that we’d like to visit, and we can share it publically. I know how to create lists, but i just wanted to make sure that I can add places, in my region or other regions in my country, that I have not visited yet to my public lists depending on the feedbacks of other Local Guides and May be my relatives or friends who have experinced it.
