Should I change my display name?

Hi everyone,

I am local guide level 6. Before I was using my nickname on goggle maps review

I just curious if my nickname will affect on my local guide program? Because I intend to apply for Connect Live this year.

So, what should I do then? Since I was using my nickname for many years. And I’m afraid it will affect all my previous post and review. So, which one I should use my real name or my nick name?

We can use nicknames for our Google account, as long as we are not trying to impersonate someone else.

When you send in your application for Connect Live, there is a section to fill in your legal name as per your passport or ID.
