I’m working on a MacOs system with chrome. Times ago I tried to use a small sw to record the move of the to create a macro; the same that you are looking for.
I did it but after few hours of usage I understood that I was way more faster than the macro.
My macro was starting from the moment I decide to submit my work, so:
Done
Submit
Done
Hamburger menu
Edit the map
Add a road
Then my mouse pointer is center to the screen and I can start the drawing process.
The process is really slow due to the fact that it is a simulation of the movement of my mouse and, in addition, it do not consider the time delay that can occur sometimes from the “submit” to the “done”.
After reading you post I asked for help about this. I have been told that the solution should be a small program to run a web scraping with Python.
I’m trying to convince my niece to do this for us. If I’ll be able I’ll post this here but, in the meantime, some good programmer that are here in LGC can help to solve this.
Let me add that I did try a macro extension for Chrome, but I was unable to make it act on the current page. Instead, it constantly pulled up the place on Maps where I recorded the macro. So completely useless. Or my twerking skills or patience was not up to par.
Ich weiß mal wieder nichts mit den ganzen Begriffen anzufangen. Ich habe letztlich eine kleine Straße mit dem Smartphone zugefügt und fand es nicht so schwierig.
@MortenCopenhagen I was sure that the title image for your road editing post said, “Marco Needed For Adding Roads” — and there was @MarcoDavoli right at the top of the comments.
