As a sixth level local guide I have shared many things for the people who visit google maps. When I go out I try to take different pictures and give detailed observations for the community. And I feel good when somebody give a feedback.
Street Photography and Maps Photography
I am a street photographer and more than five years I take pictures of people in the streets. But I must say taking pictures for the other social media platforms and the google maps are totally different. But I can say, I am still learning photography for the google. These are some samples from my photography with Sony A7r iii.
I am also working in an international organisation as a press officer. So I have chance to see different countries, people and cultures all around the world. And I try to contribute many things from this places to community. Sometimes I focus on street photography and I can’t use those pictures on Google Maps.
There are too many ways for taking pictures for the maps.
First of all you have to put yourself in other people’s place before you take a picture. You should think what they would like to see at this restaurant, park, office etc. For example, in a restaurant you take pictures of outside, inside, menu and foods. Then, you can take pictures what you liked. I always use my phone to take picture for Google Maps, otherwise it’s really hard to take picture with Dslr or other professional cameras. But you can use mirrors cameras both for the professional and amateur photography. Sony and Fujifilm are the best brands I guess. Also canon and other brands have new mirrorless cameras. But if you use light properly you will take very good picture with your phone.
Voyn Tavern - A Romantic Restaurant in Kaş, Antalya, Turkey

**Today I want to introduce a romantic restaurant in southern Turkey. This place is in Antalya which is a really popular city for the tourists. But this place is in beautiful district; Kaş. Kaş is a small town where the mountain meets the sea. Kaş itself is a quiet pleasant town with its blue sea and narrow streets scented with jasmine flowers. There are plenty of little guest houses, quiet cafes serving home cooking, or small bars to relax after a day’s scuba diving. Its nature is still protected. There are so many nice restaurants around there. Voyn Tavern is one of them. It’s a traditional Turkish tavern. You can eat delicious seafoods while enjoying the Mediterranean Sea view. There is a Greek Island just a few km away from Kaş, and at this restaurant you can watch Meis Island. It should also be noted that this place is a meyhane/tavern. It means that people drinks Turkish raki. So if you visit this place you will have lots of good memories. It’s a magical place with magical atmosphere.
