Shopping in Mathura

If you are in Mathura and you don’t know where to go for shopping, then head straight towards Holigate!

Holigate is more of a landmark, where when entered you would reach to Chhatta Bazaar

Chhatta Bazaar comprises of two parallel rows of shops facing towards each other where you can buy anything and everything.

This place is very crowded on normal days and people are not wearing masks here so you have to be more careful about your own safety.

This place is at a walking distance from Mathura Cantt railway station.

The famous Dwarkadhish temple is located near this market.

Happy shopping!

Thank you for sharing information about the Bazar in Mathura @bhavanakuntal

I am planning to visit this place soon but the news that people are neither following social distancing nor wearing masks is a bit discouraging.

@TusharSuradkar this is the story of all small towns and cities, be it Agra or Mathura. Most of the people are not wearing masks. Although the shopkeepers do follow all the measures usually!

It’s fine, Bhavana and I understand, as long as we never forget each other, it’s cool. Christmas is almost here, there is plenty of time to catch up, and I will be available for all of your goofiness.

CAN I buy saris and other Indian costumes at Mathura and how far is it from Mumbai?:person_facepalming: @bhavanakuntal
