Shiva the lord of Dance - Nataraja

I had the privilege to visit the Chidambaram Natraja temple in Chidambaram in Tamil Nadu.

This is one of the best architecture and historic temple dedicated to lord Shiva in the form of Natraja as the lord of dance. The dance Bharatnatyam Classical Dance originated from Lord Shiva’s Natraja dance poses. The temple architecture has beautiful paintings and carvings to depict the dance poses.
