Phoksundo Lake is the deepest lake in Nepal, with a depth of around 145 meters (476 feet). The lake covers an area of about 4.94 square kilometers (1.91 square miles), one of the most beautiful and iconic lakes in Nepal.
It is located in the Dolpa District within the Shey Phoksundo National Park, which is in the mid-western region of the country.
The lake is renowned for its stunning turquoise color, crystal-clear water, and the surrounding snow-capped mountains and dense forests, making it a popular destination for trekkers and nature lovers.
