Shelter for bears Domazhyr

Shelter for bears.
People do a good job. They created a decent shelter for bears who survived torture and bullying. Here they take care of the bears, equipping the area as close to the wildlife. Now there are nine bears, but the territory is designed for thirty.

M’agraden els ossos en general, els trobo una animals simpàtics tot i que poden ser molt agressius. En aquest cas em fan molta llàstima donat que son animals que han patit molt la despietada pressió de l’home. Es en aquests casos que sento vergonya dels humans.

Great to see such wonderful people/organizations taking care of these tortured animals, @RostyslavZ .

Does the gift shop help fund the shelter?

That’s good news, I’d like to read more about it in the future.

Yes. All collected funds from purchased gifts, tickets, excursions are used for the development and support of the shelter.

For example, this is a restaurant that kept the bear in the cage for advertising. The circus blinded the bear so the bear was not afraid of light. Another bear has worked in a traveling circus for 14 years. He was given little food. He was taught to dance on a hot surface. All animals in the shelter have a sad story. Volunteers take bears from owners to shelter for rehabilitation and treatment.

Terrible! many sad stories…

I hope this shelter can help poor animals!

I would like to ask you @RostyslavZ to share with us link on GoogleMaps for Domazhir shelter.

Thank you!

Dear @RostyslavZ ,

Thank you for sharing this project with us.

I will go this year defenitly to Lwov and will see if there is time for visiting this shelter as well.

I try to go to Ukraine since 1998 and never managed, but this year 2-3 days are fixed.

Best regards from Germany
