Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is one of the world’s largest mosques and the only one that captures the unique interactions between Islam and other world cultures. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Founder of the UAE, had a very specific vision for this mosque: to incorporate architectural styles from different Muslim civilizations and celebrate cultural diversity by creating a haven that is truly welcoming and inspirational in its foundation. The mosque’s architects were British, Italian and Emirati, with design ideas borrowed from parts of Turkey, Morocco, Pakistan and Egypt, among other Islamic countries. The end result is a breathtaking, gleaming architectural marvel.
Such beautiful architecture and beautiful photographs. I wish I had visited Abu Dhabi when I was in Dubai.
so Magnificent! I have heard so much about this mosque. It is certainly a Tourist Attraction! I learnt that you can get a covering (as a lady) to explore this Mosque. How far ie it from Dubai?
My most favorite is the fifth photo. The reflective photography in this shot inspires me to some tranquility, invites me to some somnolence in this beautiful place. I also like how you have written this article. @Ashifp
I have never been inside a Grand Mosque, I have visited a few though.
Really, awesome architecture @Ashifp .
Thanks for sharing these beautiful pictures with us.

Thank you.
Yeah, it’s such a beautiful architecture. Next time please try to visit.
Thank you.
Yeah, it’s one of the best tourist attraction in Abu Dhabi. The ladies should wear the covering if you enter inside the masjid premises and you will get it from there.
It’s around 2 hours from Dubai. The article I got it from the official website and google.
Try to visit one time, it will be unforgettable memory in your life.

First one wide angle photo I liked the most. Internal beauty of mosques also awesome.
Hi @Ashifp
Fantastic photos and incrediable place! I so dreamed of visiting the inside of this Mosque, but I was so busy that I could only look outside. I went there by walk, at nighttime, because during the day I worked in the Ministery Quarter, but I lived nearby, in Rotana.
