Shashi Lodge, also known as Mymensingh Rajbari, is a historic palace built in the late 19th century by Maharaja Suryakanta Acharya Chowdhury in Mymensingh, Bangladesh. Named after his adopted son, Maharaja Shashikanta Acharya Chowdhury, the lodge showcases a blend of European architectural styles, with grand arches, Corinthian columns, and intricate carvings. Surrounded by lush gardens and a fountain, it served as a hub for cultural and social gatherings during the British colonial era. Now managed by the Department of Archaeology, it operates as a museum, offering a glimpse into the region’s aristocratic heritage and attracting visitors with its architectural elegance and historical significance.

Regular buses operate between Dhaka and Mymensingh. The journey takes approximately 3-4 hours. Once you arrive at the Mymensingh bus terminal, you can hire a rickshaw or an auto-rickshaw to Shashi Lodge, located near the Brahmaputra River in the city center. - By Private Car:
