These past few years I’ve discovered that I really enjoy taking photos and capturing ‘that precious moment’, so when I realized that Google Maps could give me the opportunity to explore this further, I immediately grabbed the chance! At first, I remember I was a bit hesitant but after getting feedback this whole thing started growing in me. Google Maps gave me a sense of purpose so I gradually began sharing more and more with the rest of the world and I truly encourage you to do the same! Now every time I visit a new place, for example, I rely on Google Maps not only to get directions but also to get the general sense of the place, to understand what makes it unique or special. What could be more helpful in this case than a local guide who has taken the time and effort to show the rest of the world what this place looks and feels like? I believe a picture is worth a thousand words and Google Maps is definitely a means to this end!
