During all my life, I had the chance to travel a lot. Teenager, I traveled with my mum as my father died when I was young and with my mum we visited many countries. During my studies,I spent few month in California to learn more English and US civilisation. During my working times, I traveled for business purposes in Europe, Africa, Middle East, and since I am retired, I continue tor travel with my wife for our pleasure.
But since my youth, traveling for me is not only to see countries, not only to work, not only to enjoy places, but first and foremost, to meet people, to understand the countries, to get deeply in the culture, tradition and usage of the people and places where I am.
What I like to explain is that my set of mind, when traveling is to be a “traveler”. A person wide open to others, and not only a tourist. I like people, I like discussing and sharing. That’s the world human fraternity which is my “engine”.
Now being a local guide, the beauty of it is to share this with the world and to enrich Google maps with pictures, stories, explanations et comments about miscellaneous places.
