I love travelling both within the country and sometimes abroad also. My country India is the land of rich culture which is reflected by the thousands of ancient temples and monuments scattered all over the country. International tourists in particular are attracted to India mainly to know about this heritage. Due to this very fact, I share mostly the ancient temples and monuments and I receive a wonderful response for my photos and reviews.
Some suggestions and tips I want to share with my local guide friends,
-
Please try to post self revealing pics and not just your faces with nothing of that place in the background as it is very irritating to the person struggling to know about a place. Please have the subject ( temple, monument or scenary) behind your face in the photo if you want to show yourself too.
-
please post the true photograph of that place. Sometimes people show a khajuraho temple in place of a local temple, deceiving the visitor.
-
please post a meaningful review with some information of the local conditions, condition of the roads, chances of loot or criminal activity if the area is remote or wild, so that the visitor is cautioned and really helped.
-
Be trustworthy and a true guide.
-
Add the place with precise location.
-
Post the closeups of for example the sculptures, statues etc. along with long shots showing the temple or monument structure. A photo of the surrounding is also very helpful.
.6) I have given some of my previously uploaded google maps photos where I have shown myself and the subject (temple) as well, as examples.
