Sharing tips is like sharing food

I love traveling with friends so we always look for information on the Internet. It’s so grateful that a lot of people are really generous to share their traveling tips. My trips are usually spontaneous. I’ll just mark the places I wanna go. That makes me remember where I’ve been to and also makes me my own tips. After the trips, I always take notes and share the marks and pictures with the people who need.

Sharing pictures and writing comments are just like what I do in daily life. Local guide is even a better team with bunch of people giving you good suggestion and reference that save you some time to the wrong directions. It’s really interesting to be part of them. Getting correct information from local guides is pleased so I also like to answer questions.

I like to mark restaurants and cafes to memorize my trips. I think if others could see the menu first or know what’s special to order. they’ll be more comfortable during the trips.https://youtu.be/4BNso4iU28w

Hi @kkiimmoonn and welcome to Connect!

Thank you for sharing your first post here and for your contributions on Google Maps! I agree with you that tips from experienced people can be as valuable as food!

Since you’re new to the community, you might want to share a bit more about yourself and get to know others in our monthly Introduce Yourself - June 2019. You can also take a look at these 14 helpful tips for using Connect, and What are Connect topics?

I’m going to move your post to the Local Stories section on Connect where the Local Guides from all around the world share their local stories and inspiration why they like to be Local Guides and how they contribute to Google Maps. I will also add a Food & Drink tag.
