Being the Local guide at Saint-Petersburg, Russia location I do like share the details about this outstanding city. I really hope, it helps people to find places that suits them most.
But my real passion is a trip stories. We like travelling very much: Lapland, Crete, deep sites of Russia etc.
For example, our last trip was a car ride to Lapland, Finland. We drove over 1000 kilometer, met Santa’s village, did the snowboard and ski rides. While making this trip, I tried to describe the different spots at the route, such as caffees, hotels, gas stations, supermarkets, different sightseeings and activities. I felt he lack of complete vision of the route during my trip. Where can we drink coffee, where is the next WC stop at the highway, can we eat something at the next gas station - all these questions seems to be simple and usual, but if you haven’t answers for them - it might be a problem, especially if you travel with kids.
Also I tried to tell my impressions about local sightseeings and activities: ski riding, reindeer farm, Ice hotel. It is important to know about its open hours and small details. For example, at the reindeer farm you may feed the reindeers with moss, which you may buy at th reception.
Making the conclusion - I like to travel, I plan my route using the Google maps and local guides notes and I like to leave the track of my trips at local guides program to help people who will follow the same way.
