Sharing on Google Maps - where is my love from ?

I grew up in a small family where my mom – a wonderful, traditional Vietnamese woman worked hard to make ends meet, so be careful not to waste food & eating inexpensive food naturally runs in my blood. Pursuing higher education in Hanoi for 4 years opened my mind to all aspects of Vietnamese cuisine. I was really impressed with the Hanoi food & coffee.

But, as a student, with a tight budget, I am also aware that I need to find good food places at affordable prices so that I can regularly come out to eat with my friends. My friends all see me as a food expert, so they always asking me the best places to eat. I know where we can have an excellent cup of coffee for a suitable price, a perfect bowl of noodles soup and so on.

Besides, I’m also a lover of languages and my English is good enough to write reviews in both Vietnamese & English that will be more helpful than an online translation service. I read some auto-translated reviews which were not that great at all. Also, I think, our descriptions should emphasize some particular points if the viewers are foreigners, especially those who are totally new to our country.
For example, if someone hasn’t tried a real bún chả, I’ll describe the ingredients and the taste of it in detail and tell them why and what makes it delicious. But if the viewer is a local, a Vietnamese, we don’t need to describe those aspects, just confirm clearly that it’s worth the money or not.

In sum, I’m really into sharing Vietnamese restaurants and café on Google map in Vietnamese and English to help people have quality time and food at the table. Now, I can’t deny that it’s becoming my hobby and a part of my daily routine. The feeling that you’re doing an amazing thing, you’re helping someone is so great. Do you think so too?
