It’s quite interesting I’ve never though about: why am I sharing content to Google Map?
Now, actually, I know why
I like to share photos of places and restaurant reviews… and I always think to deliver a message to someone (like me) that is on the other side of the phone.
I’m not writing a message to someone, I’m writing a message to you… you are like me searching for a suggestion on an hotel and a restaurant… so if you find a great review (5 starts) of a restaurant you know you can try it, even if you’ve never been there!
And mostly I like to write great review when something goes particularry good. Once I think I’ve eaten the best burger on my life in a little pub in Jesi/Italy… the service was also excellent, so I did thank them with a 5 start review.
If you find a 3 stars review of an hotel you can read it and understand why there is something wrong… even if photos and information in the websiste are great.
My personal suggestion to all Local Guides is to let the energy flow, live the moment, than take a picture and share it… it will help you to put a landmark also in your memory.
