First thing that comes to my mind when I think of sharing anything on Google Maps is “contributing to the society”. Society is the surroundings around us where we live or wander. When you travel to different places, you face many difficulties in finding local places that may be the perfect spots you are looking for, the places which in our great old tech-less world were best known by the locals. This still holds true in the present world where locals residing the place since years are the best people to guide you on various questions that cross your mind while you are at a completely new place and are trying to serve your expectations.
A local guide is an online version of a local staying in the place for years. He has the best knowledge of all your doubts and needs of the place. Though there are some major advantages of google local guides such as you won’t need to look for those perfect locals in the streets, you will find it right there on your fingertips.
Sharing my experience would be saving a lot of other travellers’ time as the challenges that I’ve faced, the things that I’ve explored and the mistakes that I have made can be shared with travellers who will be visiting the place in future. Genuine reviews and experience helps a future traveller to analyse what to expect from a completely unknown place beforehand.
My major reason to share my experiences as a local guide is always to pass on the help that I have received from the people out there both online and offline. All my trips have been great only because of the numerous people who have helped me in many ways to make my experience better and safer. As a person who has received a lot from the society, I want to give it all that I have to the society for a better cause of human kind.
I have travelled to 14 countries and have always found people willing to lend a helping hand in all corners of the world. I wish to be one of them!
