One of my favorite things to do on Google maps is share images. I’ve always had a strong interest in photography and as a teenager was given my Mom’s old 35mm Canon camera. The camera came with an auto winder, multiple lenses and a tripod. Right away, I knew that capturing images of special moments with friends and family, stunning outdoor scenery, my pets ? was important to me.
I had no idea at the time how this passion for photography would stay with me through college and on as an adult. Now, I enjoy posting pictures to Google maps whether it’s to help a local business or inspire others to get out and explore the area around them. I’ve been fortunate to live and work in a number of places here in the US and overseas. No matter where life took me I always looked for the beauty in a place and its people. Photography helps me to capture those moments and share them with others.
