My country Portugal is small but it is full of beauty and history. And thanks to Google Local guides I can share with you information on Portugal to make your visit more enjoyable. In the south, where I live, we have our famous Algarve beaches but also absolutely wonderful fish, fruit and vegetables. And as you go around our country you can see Lisbon, becoming one of the favourite tourist destinations in the world, whilst more in the North in Porto you can see, for example, the library where JK Rowling began to write Harry Potter and which inspired her to create Hogwarts (livreria Lello, Porto) and in Central Portugal in Coimbra University you can see the Joannina Library which looks so much like Kings College Chapel in England. And thanks to Google Maps and the local guides you can easily find out anything you need to know before or whilst travelling.
