Sharing Local guides Review

I wanted to know if it were possible to share my reviews that have been done as a direct link which I can use to attached to another app.

Just a simple URL that takes them to a list of my reviews or a filtered map view of my reviews of the places I have been.

Hi @SeanC_3 !

Yes you can share your review in two ways:

A) open the review in Google Maps, and then click “share”.

B) you can create a list of places with your review and then share this list. For doing this you have to open your review or place, click “save” and add a name of your list. After this in the menu of the app you have “Your places” and when you click on the three dots you can share it.

I hope I have been helpful!

Bye David

Thanks for getting back to me in relation to this. This kinda works for what I am looking to do all be it a very manual way to do it. I was hoping for more of a direct link to all of my reviews, however I will give this a go.

Thanks! And I will give you a follow on IG.

@SeanC_3 If you want to share all your reviews, the one possible way is to share your contribution profile. (Not exactly sure if that is what you want to do), but you can go to Maps app, Your Contributions, and there should be share button on top, click Share.

To see how others will see that link, you share the link, and open in an incognito browser, so to view as a public viewer. Just make sure that’s what you want to share before sharing it, because your contributions profile link is fixed and cannot be changed.

This is a great tip! Thank you!

Hi. Your answer has been very helpful for me as well. But I just wanted to confirm - it looks like sharing my Local Guide contributor profile (and thus reviews) is only possible from the Google Maps App on a smart phone, and not from a desktop. Is that definitely the case? Thanks!

As a workaround, I used the share option in the Google Maps app to copy the link and email it to myself (via a mobile email app). This enabled me to access my email (and thus the link) on desktop.
