Sharing is Just Another Word for Reliving

Google is my go to place to share my experiences—whether good or bad. It is where I indulge my feelings into small paragraphs hoping to transcribe them to my readers. I love to share experiences rather than specific topics because I find myself reliving certain moments of my life. In writing a review on a good experience, it allows me to go back in time and feel the same magic I felt within that moment. If it happens to be a negative experience, writing the review can serve as a lesson learned that has made me grow as a person.

I like to be very meticulous in writing my experiences in Google reviews in order to make my readers feel the same way I felt. Sharing my life experiences allows myself to open up to an unknown public in order to try and improve their perception of the places I’ve visited around the world. It challenges me to find the right words to describe a particular moment and grants me the contentment of being able to relive that moment all over again. It provides me with the possibility of knowing that an experience that impacted my life, could also impact the life of another. It is a hobby in which I enjoy exploring myself in the eyes of others and it allows me to get a deeper sense of the kind of person I am and what I value. For instance, when reviewing a restaurant, I take into account the service, friendliness of staff, quality of food, cleanliness of the facility, overall ambiance etc. These are some of the aspects of life that I consider to be important and I look for in any place that I go and strive to have in my own home. This gives me greater knowledge on what I care about and what I consider to be essential in my daily life.

I’ve worked as a private tutor since I was a sophomore in high school as well as a fitness coach and both of these jobs have taught me that spreading knowledge is important and rewarding. Reviewing on Google allows me to share my knowledge as well; however, on a more personal basis, to others around me about what I like to do in my free time, food preferences, and places I choose to visit when traveling. This teaches me that opening up in a professional aspect, such as teaching, is just as important in an impersonal aspect, such as making new friendships.

Overall, sharing my experiences as reviews on Google makes me feel grateful of how I am able to give back to my community. It fills me with happiness to know a small comment can have a huge impact on the lives of others, including my own.
