Sharing is caring!!

I simply love sharing things which I care about.

‘Sharing is caring’ is a common phrase but had a big meaning that when we share something with someone else it is equal to caring him.

I often like to share about the accessibility of the place. How is the parking structure, is it free or paid, sometimes I even post the rate card. I also like to share if there is any food chain inside a grocery store. I like to share these things because I love to travel and whenever I go to a new place these are the most basic things which I look for. I assume the same for others, hence whenever I get a chance to share my experience I post most of it so that one can take a decision without any hassle.

I strongly believe that posting information about accessibility can help millions of people in their planning. They can save their time, effort and money based on my feedback. My comments about the parking, wheelchair accessibility, nearby grocery or pharmacy store can impact their arrangement in positive ways.

Being a Local guide made me feel that I am a “crystal ball” for the one who is reading my comments. It feels like I know all about the place and acting as a virtual tour guide for them. As for me, I love sharing my knowledge and hence I see things with the eyes of 100 others. Since I started posting on Google, I gained experience in terms of what kind of things people look for and in course of time, I have gained the ability to notice these things without an effort.

There can be some information which may seem irrelevant to you but it might be useful for others. Once I went to a WalMart and felt very happy to find McDonald’s inside it and I posted it on Google maps out of excitement. And to my surprise, it received more than 50K views on it. That was the most pivotal incident which encouraged me to share more. And these little things do matter for many people.

I realized even a season plays a considerable role in the reviews. I remembered once I went to Tanger outlet in Lexington during Thanksgiving weekend. Many local people were offering to park in front of their house for 5 dollars; I was impressed with the help and hence posted it on Google Maps.

At last, I would like to say that this has become my passion now, along with accessibility, I love to post unusual activities as well. Sometimes I post pictures, as they say, “A picture is worth a thousand words”. I think all these details posted by local guide transform people for better. They can plan and organize their trips according to the reviews and inputs from a local guide.

Thanks,

Ashish
