Sharing is caring. How would our world look like if the people would not share their thoughts, their opinions, their time, their money and their love? It would be an unimaginably gloomy and dull place to be in. That is why sharing is so important and being a google local guide is an opportunity for me to do this.
I want to share my experiences so that as many people as possible have an opportunity to benefit from them. Maybe it will help them to make a decision; maybe it will inspire them to do something new, check out a different place, who knows. The whole thing for me is about sharing and not about awaiting any results or rewards. Sharing is enough per se, since it gives me the feeling of belonging to a certain community.
Mostly I share my experiences with cafes, restaurants or places of entertainment (swimming pools, cinemas, bouldering halls). It is my sincere wish to give justified praise to all of the awesome people out there who are making an effort of doing a great job (e.g. shop keepers, business owners, café managers) and also to fairly describe if something looks or feels considerably wrong. The last does not pursue an objective to punish someone; it is more of a warning to all of the fellow travelers. As a side effect it will hopefully motivate the business owners to undertake some changes in order to improve their business or customer approach, so that everyone will benefit in the end.
Not only sharing thoughts and opinions are important since one picture can say more than a thousand words. The quick snapshot of the Dosa Plaza Divinity in Mathura got almost 35.000 views, I am really astounished by this fact and really grateful.
I firmly believe in treating others exactly as you want to be treated yourself. That is why I try my best to approach people with love and kindness. I absolutely believe that even one person can make a difference and that every little effort counts. That is why I am happy to be a local guide and grateful for the opportunity to be able to share my experiences.
