Google Maps has always been my queen. I followed it faithfully throughout Amsterdam - from point A to point B, usually my house to a new bar ou new coffee place or a new brunch spot. So, I decided it was time to give a little back to Queen Maps and sign up as a Local Guide. Who knew it would be so much fun?
I am a true believer of sharing is caring, it comes pretty naturally for me to suggest a coffee place or a nice spot to someone. Doing it in much bigger scale was the logical (and emotional) next step. I love doing reviews and especially sharing the prices and the feeling a place gives you, since that surely influences my choices when going for a new spot or revisiting an old one. I love the places where you feel like you could spend a whole afternoon and you don’t expend that much for it.
I guess what I love sharing the most is places for coffee and brunch and with great outside seating- I just love a good cup of coffee with a nice sweet. And, I love the sun - so a chair outside is always a plus in my book. Why else? I love a good book and those places are so nice for you to just open a book, get a cappuccino and stay for the day.
Truly, I love sharing all my experiences and places I go to - when I am home and when I am traveling. You get to notice the things around you more, the location, the food, the service, the ambiance. And that is an awesome added bonus!
I look forward to sharing more about Amsterdam and any other cities I visit or further move too. And I look forward to reading other reviews and basing my choices on them! Without Google, I would never know where to go.
