I’m happy to see the same moto is driving a lot of us to continue contributing and showing the hidden spots and stories from all over the world. Being a Local Guide is a privilege and responsibility to every one of us - no matter if you are showing your cousin from the province who is your guest or sharing online with people from all over the world.
Once I got a lovely message from a Lady with dissability being grateful seeing the 7 Rila lakes in Bulgaria in 360 and “feeling like I’ve made it myself” really touched me… Since then I feel sharing more like a social responsibility and I carry my equipment to a lot of peaks, hikes, dives and whatever might be interesting to be shown.
At some point starting as a hobby being Local Guide was also a perfect opportunity for me to join professional groups. This took me shooting and sharing not only from my own country but to visit and shoot at 4 continents and 20 + countries - a good way to combine work and fun I would say ( :
I would like to use the last photo in this Local Story both for inspiration and to warn you - Please know your limits and prepare your next step carefully ( :
