Hi everyone!
My name is Luisa, however, in this site, I prefer to be called by my nick, @LuiAcha.
Nowadays, I am working as a professor in a technical school in Almería (Andalucía, Spain), teaching medical imaging technologies and procedures for diagnosis. I have been living for two years in this fascinating and unknown city.
Because of my job, I am used to traveling a lot, and I love taking photos too. That´s why, I,d like to share the following thought with all of you:
"When you are alone, in a new city for the first time, where you don,t know anybody, Google Maps might become your best friend".
That was the way I start to know how useful #GoogleMaps could be, so I started to contribute, with the aim of helping other people (even other teachers) and also have a registration in the cloud about the cities I had visited or the sites I had enjoyed.
Photos could be very important to transmit feelings about a new site, you know what they say about pictures:
"a picture says more than a thousand words"
Also, you might share new experiences like yoga o trying new food:
Sites are presented before you come in, as there is somebody online, who wants to share their point of view and they show you some tips or ideas to start living in a new city. Both day and night:
But always sharing:
In conclusion, the more I share on Google Maps, the more I like it.
Using Google Maps, Not only could you discover a new site, but you could discover yourself too.
Here is my overview of what I love sharing most on Google Maps and why I do love doing this.
Thanks, #GoogleMaps #localguidesconnect for making it possible.
I wish I met you in California! ?
